Representing a borough of over 1800 resident, 12,000 square miles and a diverse economy, Denali Chamber strives to advocate for a climate that fosters positive economic growth and prosperity allowing our members and residents to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle surrounded by positive business development.
Our borough is home to Denali National Park, productive natural resources, the highest mountain in North America and a very diverse economy. We are 250 miles north of Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city and 110 miles south of Fairbanks, Alaska’s second largest city.
Our borough contains four communities – Anderson, Clear, Cantwell, Healy and a number of smaller settlements. Healy has the largest population with close to 1000 permanent year round residents.

Celebrate Denali’s birthday by sharing/sampling brew and cocktail concoctions. Bring an appetizer or dessert to share. Live music, and coffee, tea and cupcakes will be provided! Park information, backcountry permits and films; science exhibits and children’s play area; Alaska Geographic bookstore; ice grippers and snowshoes available for checkout.
Local skier Molly McKinley will guide skiers on river and tundra routes in the Mountain Vista and Savage River area. Participants should be comfortable skiing in ungroomed tracks and backcountry terrain. This activity is dependent on safe snow conditions – call 683-9532 for status
Join a park ranger to learn about changes to this area of the park — natural and human-caused — in the past 100 years. Snowshoes available for checkout at the information desk
Join kids and community members of all ages, for hockey games all day.

Visit our engine, meet firefighters, and learn about fire safety. S’mores by the campfire while supplies last.
Ski races (ages 8-18), skate or classic ski and relay. The 0.8 km loop track open for preview 9:30am. Fun classic ski (all ages welcome) over beginner-level trails (3-5 km). Bring your own equipment.
